You can see your current training/credential status on the DirectMyCare web portal. Follow the instructions below to view your status.

Step 1: Sign into DirectMyCare.com.
Step 2: Click on your name in the upper right of the home page. This brings you to your User Profile.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page. Review your Qualifications.

This is an internal CDWA validation. You may disregard this on your list.

No, DirectMyCare reflects these trainings as having an expiration date because when someone first becomes an Individual Provider (IP), they have a limited amount of time to complete them. If your “expiration date” is far into the future, this just reflects that we have completion records for your training(s) and you do not have to take any action.

Yes, DirectMyCare will not apply the restrictions to training completion until you reach the end of your Training deadline as determined by your Hire Date. For example, if your Hire Date (as listed on your email from CDWA) is January 16, 2022 then the expiration date listed on the DirectMyCare web portal will be 120 days from your Hire Date. However, because of the Public Health Emergency rules you will have until July 31, 2023 to complete your training requirements.

If you have not complete your Basic Training, you can find your expiration date on your DirectMyCare profile. There you will see a BT Cohort qualification. Your expiration date is listed in the description.

Is there an advance arrow on the bottom of your Qualifications screen? If so, please be sure to advance that.

If you still do not see the Training or Credential, please submit a Training/Credential Correction Request in Workday. Detailed instructions are available here.

You should continue to complete your Continuing Education (CE). All Individual Providers with a Continuing Education training requirement have until August 31, 2023 to complete any additional CE that may have become due while training waivers were in place in excess of the 12 hours of CE granted for those working between March 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

Washington State regulation (WAC 388-71-0876) set the rules for the dates in which Individual Providers are required to come back into compliance following the pandemic Training/Credentialing waivers. These rules are based on when you started working as an Individual Provider.

Below are the training deadlines:

Washington state regulation (RCW 74.39A.074) requires that Individual Providers undergo specific training. The training requirements are based upon the services and needs of the Client(s) that you provide services for.

If you are an IP who transitioned to CDWA (on or before 6/30/2022):
