Consumer Direct Care Network Washington (CDWA) is the registered provider for WA Cares Fund beneficiaries who want to manage their in-home personal care services.
Do you need help with three or more activities of daily living, such as bathing, eating, or managing medications? Starting in July 2026, you may be eligible to access your WA Cares Fund benefit through CDWA.
After you hire an IP, it is important that you both agree on the care to be provided. WA Care Fund encourages you to create and share the WA Cares Fund Agreement with your IP. This form is for your use only and does not need to be provided to CDWA.
The WA Cares Fund provides working Washingtonians with a way to earn access to long-term care benefits that will be available to eligible individuals when needed. Learn more at the WA Cares Fund website.

CDWA will enroll you after your application is approved through the WA Cares Fund. We will discuss in-home care options based on the approved authorization. Once you feel confident in your decision, we will send your enrollment information to the WA Cares Fund Benefits Administration Management System (BAMS) for your approval.

Beneficiaries like you are the managing employer. You recruit, hire, and manage your caregivers/IPs. If you already have a caregiver identified, we support them through our hiring process so they can start providing care as soon as possible. Ask your IP to apply online.
If you need to find a caregiver, we support you in working with Carina. They are a trusted partner for finding caregivers.
