Use this calculator to estimate the cost of services covered by WA Cares. The maximum lifetime benefit is $36,500, though the amount available to you may be lower depending on eligibility.
To get started, enter the number of service hours you expect to receive each week. The calculator will estimate your costs per week, per month, and for a 90-day authorization period.
Hours must be entered in 15-minute increments.
Use:
- .25 for 15 minutes
- .50 for 30 minutes
- .75 for 45 minutes
For example:
- 10.25 = 10 hours and 15 minutes
- 10.50 = 10 hours and 30 minutes
You may compare Family Provider and Standard Provider rates and enter hours for more than one caregiver.
