data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>You have choice and control over your care.<\/h3>\n<p>Consumer Direct Care Network Washington (CDWA) is the Consumer Directed Employer (CDE) for Washington\u2019s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). The CDE program allows individuals to self-direct their care and remain in their home and community.<\/p>\n<p>The CDE is an Agency with Choice service model. That means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">You are the managing employer, so you choose, schedule, and supervise your Individual Providers (IPs).<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">We are the legal employer, so we handle payroll and other administrative tasks.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Talk to your Case Manager to determine eligibility for CDE services. If you qualify, your Case Manager will refer you to us to start the hiring process for your IP.
