The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently launched the Emergency Broadband Benefit program. This program provides a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband internet services for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.
Households may also qualify for a one-time discount on laptop computer, desktop computer, or tablet purchases from participating providers. This discount could be particularly beneficial for those who use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
